Oppo India has launched the R17 and R17 Pro smartphones in India at Rs 34,990 and Rs 45,990. The smartphone will go on sale online and offline stores on December 7 onwards.
The new Oppo R17 Pro runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It also comes with 3700 mAh battery with SuperVOOC technology.
The company claims that the new Oppo F17 Pro can be fully charged in just 40 minutes with SuperVOOC technology. The phone can be charged up to 40 percent in just 10 minutes.
Oppo F17 Pro comes in two exciting colour shades - Emerald Green and Radiant Mist.
In the camera department, Oppo's flagship device features a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 12MP primary sensor with OIS, dual-pixel autofocus and aperture of f/1.5 & f/2.4. The secondary lens is a 20MP snapper with aperture of f/2.6 that will act as a telephoto camera.
The notch at the front of Oppo R17 Pro comprises of light sensor, proximity sensor and a 25MP selfie camera. The smartphone also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for overall protection.
The new Oppo R17 Pro sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 2340×1080 pixels of resolution and aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

The new Oppo R17 Pro comes with 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch on the top of the display. The panel comes with resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the skin, the smartphone comes powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 710 processor that is clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. Running on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, Oppo R17 Pro is backed by 3700 mAh battery. Moreover, the phone also supports SuperVOOC technology for fast 50W charging. For optics, the smartphone gets a triple rear camera module comprising of 12MP primary shooter with OIS and dual piuxel auto focus. The secondary shooter is a 20MP snapper with an aperture of f/2.6 which acts like a telephoto lens. The third camera is a time-of-flight camera for converting images into 3D images. The front camera is a 25MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture for ultra-wide-angle selfies. The smartphone also comes with in-display fingerprint sensor along with connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and more. Lastly, coming to the price point, the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the smartphone at a price point of Rs 44,990.
