Mumbai, July 21: Oppo is prepping to introduce the Oppo K12x smartphone in India very soon. Oppo K12x, which was launched in China a few months ago, is ready to make its India debut in the coming days. It is said to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. Oppo has released a teaser of an upcoming smartphone on Flipkart confirming an immediate debut. But, the brand has remained coy about the design, features and launch date. However, the teaser tagline - ‘Something epiK Coming Soon’ suggests that it could be the long-awaited Oppo K12x.
The China-spec Oppo K12x sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and resolution of 2400x1080 pixels. It comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It packs a massive 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. For optics, the Oppo K12x has a dual rear camera module comprising a 50MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, there is a 16MP lens with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calls. It runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box. Google Pixel 9 Series To Launch on August 13.
As for pricing, the base 8GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 1,299 (around INR 15,000) and the 12GB + 256GB variant retails in China at CNY 1,499( around INR 17,000). The top-end 12GB+512GB variant has a price tag of CNY 1,799 (around INR 20,500).
