Beijing, October 9: OPPO will launch its new OPPO Find X8 series in China on October 24, 2024. The upcoming smartphones will include OPPO Find X8 and OPPO Find X8 Pro. According to rumours, the series will have an OPPO Find X8 Satellite Edition. Both smartphones will feature the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. The Chinese smartphone company has yet to reveal the design of its upcoming series.

OPPO Find X8 series will continue to have the same round-shaped camera module on the rear, according to a report by Gizmochina. The series may get around a 35% increase in single-core performance with Dimensity 9400 SoC. OPPO Find X8 Series Expected Specifications and Features

The OPPO Find X8 series is expected to include three models: OPPO Find X8, OPPO Find X8 Pro, and OPPO Find X8 Satellite Edition. However, the report said that an OPPO Find X8 Ultra model could be launched in early 2025 and could feature Snapdragon 8 Elite, i.e. Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. According to several other reports, the processor might be named "Snapdragon 8 Ultra."

In terms of OPPO Find X8 series specifications, the report by 91 Mobiles hinted at a 6.8-inch micro-curved OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and punch-hole cutout design for Dynamic Island-like features. The OPPO Find X8 Pro might feature a 6.82-inch OLED panel with 2K resolution. The Find X8 standard variant is expected to have a triple camera setup on the rear, one of which is a periscope lens. 

The Find X8 Pro variant will reportedly have a quad-camera setup on the rear with 50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide with 3X telephoto zoom and a 1X telephoto lens. Powering the smartphone could be a 5,700mAh battery with 100W fast-charging support and 50W magnetic wireless charging support. According to Gizmochina, the device could feature double cache capacity and 10.7 Gbps LPDDR5X RAM to offer efficiency and speed to the users. The report highlighted that the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 included a powerful Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.62GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores. The OPPO Find X8 series would likely feature the next-gen ColorOS 15 based on the Android 15 operating system.
