Oppo held an event in Paris yesterday, where they introduced their new flagship smartphone – Find X. The key highlight of the smartphone, which took everyone by surprise, was the design. The phone gets a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio along with bezel-less design. With the new architecture, the smartphone incorporates a sliding camera module which can move up and contract when needed. The Chinese smartphone company claims that the slider has been tested over 300,000 times for durability. Oppo’s new flagship smartphone is priced at EUR 999 (approx. Rs. 79,000) and will available by August this year.

While in China, the launch is scheduled for June 28, Oppo announced that prices and availability in India will be known by July 12. During the event, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer also revealed the Find X Lamborghini Edition smartphone with a price tag of EUR 1,699 (approx. Rs. 134,400). Oppo Find X smartphone is offered in two coloured variants - Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue.

Coming to the specifications, Oppo Find X sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Talking about the durability of the screen, the bezel-less display gets a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The flagship device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and Adreno 630 GPU. On the storage side, the phone packs a 256GB of internal memory.

In terms of optics, the new smartphone gets a dual camera setup of 16MP + 20MP sensors, which supports features like AI portraits and AI Scene Recognition technology. It packs 25MP sensor for selfies and video calling at the front. Oppo’s O-Face Recognition will support secure face unlock capabilities with the help of 3D facial scanning, as the device has no fingerprint scanner. Coming to the battery department, the phone carries a 3730mAh battery with VOOC fast charging. As for connectivity options, the smartphone includes a USB-Type C port, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, and GPS.
