Oppo Find X Smartphone Launching on June 19; To Come With Snapdragon 845 SoC & AMOLED Display

Oppo is likely to launch the new Find X smartphone in Paris on June 19 which is expected to carry Snapdragon 845 SoC and 25MP Selfie Camera.

Oppo, a popular Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the new Find X smartphone at an event in Paris on June 19. Expected to be launched in India soon, two new Oppo smartphones with Mod. No. PAFM00 and PAFT00 reportedly seems to have cleared the TENAA certification. Moreover, it is also speculated that both the smartphone are Oppo Find X variants.

Going by the TENAA listing, the smartphone is expected to sport a 6.3-inch full HD+ AMOLED display 2430×1080 pixels of resolution and 19.5:9 of aspect ratio. Taking the aspect ratio into consideration, the smartphone is expected to sport a notch on the display. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset which could be clocked at 2.8GHz with Adreno 630GPU.

It is also rumored that the Qualcomm’s flagship chipset might be coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. However, there is no official word from the company regarding the storage expansion. Coming to the camera department, the phone might come with dual rear camera module which could include 16MP primary shooter and 20MP secondary snapper. The smartphone is also expected to be equipped with the same technology that was revealed at MWC 2017.

The upcoming Oppo Find X smartphone is likely to sport 25MP selfie camera upfront along with advanced technologies such as 3D facial scanning. It is also speculated that the handset could be backed by a 3,645mAh battery with fast charging.

For connectivity, the forthcoming smartphone is likely to feature dual SIM cars slots supporting 4G LTE with VoLTE HD voice, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. As far as the software department is concerned, the handset is expected to run on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS out-of-the-box. The entry level variant is expected to sport same set of hardware, but may miss out on some of the features.
