Oppo, a popular Chinese smartphone maker, will be launching the new F9 Pro handset in India tomorrow. Moreover, the company has been teasing the smartphone on its official Twitter handle ahead of the launch, which has confirmed several features and specifications. The upcoming F9 Pro smartphone will feature VOOC charging technology, waterdrop notch design, new gradient colours and much more. Moreover, the company launched Oppo F9 in Vietnam last week, which is speculated to be sold in India as Oppo F9 Pro that features bezel-less display and front camera sensor embedded in the notch.

Launched in Vietnam at VND 7,990,000 (approximately Rs 23,500), the smartphone is offered in 3 colour options - Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple. The Oppo F9 Pro is likely to sport a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with the aspect ratio of 19:9 and 1080x2280 pixels of resolution. The main underline of the F9 Pro will be a new teardrop design; wherein the notch features front camera sensor. Moreover, the official teasers of the smartphone have confirmed that the smartphone will feature a dual rear setup with LED flash featuring a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor with f/1.85 aperture.  Moreover, the front shooter will be a 25MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture enabled with AI. The smartphone will run ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and will be backed by a 3,500mAh battery with VOOC charging technology.

Under the skin, the smartphone will come powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor, which will be mated to a 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage that will be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. However, there are no official details about more significant storage variants in India. More information about the smartphone will be revealed tomorrow at the launch event.
