Oppo F9 Pro smartphone is all set to make an Indian debut today at an event in Mumbai. To be introduced in the mid-range smartphone space, the new Oppo F9 Pro will sport waterdrop display along with VOOC fast charging. Moreover, the company has been teasing the smartphone for quite some time on its Twitter handle. The handset will be the second device from Oppo, which will feature VOOC fast charging technology. The company claims that VOOC fast charging technology gives 2-hours of calling on a single charge of 5 minutes. The Chinese smartphone making company will be live streaming the launch event of Oppo F9 Pro on its social media handles at 12.30 pm IST. The live streaming of Oppo F9 Pro can be watched on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The company will also live stream the event on the official Oppo India website that can be watched by heading to the link.

Likely to be offered in single variant, the new Oppo F9 Pro is expected to come with a price tag of around Rs. 25,000. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor paired with ARM Mali-G2 MP3 GPU and up to 6GB of RAM. The new Oppo F9 Pro will feature 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixel and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The handset will also come with screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 per cent. For photography, the new Oppo F9 Pro will feature dual rear camera module featuring a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The handset will also carry a 25MP selfie shooter upfront with AI capabilities. The new Oppo F9 Pro will run ColorOS 5.2 based Android Oreo. The device will be backed by 3500 mAh battery with VOOC charging. The handset will be made available in 3 gradient shades - Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple.
