Oppo, the Chinese tech giant, officially introduced its Air Glass at the INNO Day 2021 event. Air Glass is a smart glass product that is lightweight and sports a single-glass design. The company has been exploring possibilities of Extended Reality (XR) for a long time, and today, it has launched the Oppo Air Glass. Oppo Air Glass smart glass is built around a groundbreaking monocle waveguide design. It features free-flowing curves and weighs approximately 30 grams. The smart glass is the lightest monocle waveguide device in the industry and can be worn much like a pair of normal glasses.

Oppo Air Glass is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC and has a Spark Micro Projector with micro-LED that presents the information on two layers of a scratch-resistant Sapphire Crystal. The device is compatible with Oppo smartphones and smartwatches.

Once successfully connected, users can play with brightness, sound volume directly with the help of Air Glass. In addition to this, the newly introduced Oppo Air Glass can shoot 4K videos at night. The price of the device has not been revealed by the company yet. Oppo claims the device to be a limited edition, and it will be made available in the first quarter of 2022 in China only.
