Mumbai, August 1: Oppo has silently added a new smartphone under its budget-friendly A series with an X moniker for the Indian market. Offered with military-grade shock resistance, the OPPO A3x carries a starting price of INR 12,499 for the base 64GB variant. The bigger 128GB variant costs INR 13,499. It will be available for purchase starting August 7 via Oppo’s official website and offline retail stores. The Chinese smartphone maker offers the budget handset in three colours - Starry Purple, Sparkle Black, and Starlight White.
The smartphone packs a 6.67-inch LCD HD+ panel HD+ with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000nits peak brightness. It gets a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout housing the selfie shooter. The handset has passed military-grade MIL-STD 810H tests for better protection making it shock and drop-resistant. The phone also gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The Oppo A3x is powered by a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. Moreover, the phone also gets a 4GB virtual memory onboard. Motorola Edge 50 Launched in India.
For optics, there’s a dual rear camera module in a squarish module housing an 8MP primary shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and an undisclosed secondary shooter. The front camera is a 5MP selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture. It is backed by a 5,100mAh battery with 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. It comes with ColorOS 14.0.1 based on Android 14 OS out of the box.
