San Francisco, August 24: After introducing ChatGPT and Sora, OpenAI is planning to launch a new AI product this fall, codenamed"Strawberry". The OpenAI Strawberry was teased by Sam Altman on August 7, 2024 when he posted an image of strawberry plants in a pot. The OpenAI CEO wrote, "i love summer in the garden", hinting at the upcoming product powered by artificial intelligence. It is expected that the "Strawberry" product could help in solving complex mathematical problem that the conventional AI models were not able to.

Previously, Reuters reported that OpenAI was working on a new technology under a codename "Strawberry". The report highlighted that the OpenAI Strawberry project would offer the users ability to deliver advanced reasoning capabilities. It said that the tool would allow the users to solve complex math problems, even those that it was not trained on. Moreover, the report said the AI tool would pack capability to help the users high-level tasks like designing market strategies and solving problem that are complex in nature such as puzzles.

Although, the report by Reuters hinted at the project called "Strawberry", the Sam Altman's post on X confirmed that the project would be announced soon.
