OnePlus Type C Bullets Headphones Launched in India; Confirms OnePlus 6T to Ditch 3.5mm Headphone Jack

After launching its newest flagship product - OnePlus 6, the Chinese smartphone maker has officially announced the new Type-C Bullets headphones that are priced at Rs. 1490. The company introduced the new headphones after making an announcement that it will be dropping the 3.5 Headphone jack on the forthcoming flagship device. In the US market, the new pair of headphones are priced at $19.99 that is exactly the same as original Bullets V2. The headphones will feature USB Type-C interface in spite of regular 3.5mm jack. This confirms the fact that 3.5mm headphone jack that was part of several previous OnePlus devices, no longer will be a part of OnePlus 6T. Talking about the new headphone, the Chinese company has claimed that the Type-C headphones are designed for minimal quality loss ensuring superior audio experience when compared to the traditional 3.5mm connector. The original Bullets V2 headphones were launched in India by 2016. The company has also confirmed in an interview that they would be ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack on the OnePlus 6T. The company said in a statement that, "Each detail of these earphones is crafted with the unique attention to detail that OnePlus is known for - for example, to make Type C Bullets easier to use, the company has added aramid fibre to the wire in order to make the Type C Bullets more durable and resistant to stretching."
