OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone brand is all set to make its debut in the TV segment with the new OnePlus TV. The company will be unveiling the new OnePlus TV on September 26 alongside the new OnePlus 7T Series. In a bid to attract the audience, the company has been teasing the upcoming TV on Twitter that revealed key features of the product. Ahead of the India launch next week, more details of the device has surfaced online. As per the market reports, the OnePlus TV Q1 will come with 55-inch QLED display featuring resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and aspect ratio of 16:9. The images also reveal that the TV will get slim bezels, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, RJ45 support, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band WiFi. The device will run on OxygenOS based on Android TV wherein the customers can use their smartphones as a remote. On the other hand, OnePlus TV Q1 Pro will feature 65-inch QLED display with

HDR10 support. The TV will come with Dolby Vision and Dolby Digital with a refresh rate of 100Hz. Apart from these, the TV will run OxygenOS based on Android TV. It will also borrow three HDMI, two USB, RJ45, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band WiFi support from the OnePlus TV Q1.

According to the rumours, the OnePlus TV is tipped to be powered by MediaTek MT5670 chipset with Mali G51 GPU for enhanced graphics performance. The TV is also expected to come with 2.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The OnePlus TV Q1 Pro is expected to get 8 built-in speakers that will produce sound output of 50 Watts. The sound experience will be further enhanced by Dolby Atmos. The OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro are likely to get metal chassis. OnePlus will be taking on the rivals such as Samsung, Sony and LG in the premium smart TV segment. A leaked image claimed that OnePlus TV could be priced around Rs 1.5 lakh in India. It is also rumoured that the Chinese brand is also looking to launch a soundbar at the event. It remains to be seen how competitive OnePlus remains with the pricing of OnePlus TV for the Indian market. The India prices and other specifications of OnePlus TV will be revealed at the launch event.
