OnePlus TV Likely To Be Launched By Next Month; Expected Prices, India Launch, Features & Specifications

After making an impact in the smartphone segment, the Chinese phone market is eyeing the lucrative TV space. There has been several rumours and multiple leaks in the market claiming that the brand is also focusing on the Television space. These rumours broke out in the market by the second half of the last year, hinting OnePlus TV will be debuting by 2019. Previously, the company gave clear hints that the brand is working on a smart TV, which was expected to be unveiled with OnePlus 7 Series. However, that didn't happen. Now, a new leak has surfaced on the internet that claims OnePlus will launch its first TV by next month. According to the report from MySmartPrice, OnePlus is expected to launch its Smart TV range next month. Though, there is no official confirmation from the company yet. Going by the speculation, OnePlus TV will be launched by the last week of September. Though the date is not yet confirmed but the rumoured date is September 26.

Also, there are not much details about the upcoming OnePlus TVs. However, it is believed that the OnePlus TV will be seen in multiple variants. And the top-of-the-line model will pack an OLED panel. The brand will be locking horns in the TV segment against Samsung, Sony & LG. As far as the Indian market is concerned, the OnePlus TVs will also be competing against Xiaomi, TCL & Vu in the affordable TV segment. As far as the pricing is concerned, OnePlus will be looking to keep the prices pretty competitive. So, expect OnePlus TV India prices to start from Rs 45,000.
