OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone maker will officially launch the highly anticipated OnePlus Nord smartphone today in the Indian market. The company will also announce OnePlus Buds true wireless earphones alongside the Nord launch. The OnePlus AR launch event is slated for 7:30 pm IST & it will be the first augmented reality launch in the country. Interested users will have to download 'OnePlus AR Launch' App to watch the live telecast of OnePlus Nord. The Nord app is available for download via Google Play Store & Apple's App Store. In terms of specifications, the Nord handset is likely to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED corning gorilla glass display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM & up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset will come packed with a 4,115mAh battery supporting 30W warp charging.
For optics, the Nord phone will sport a quad rear camera module featuring a 48MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens & a 5MP time-of-light camera. Upfront, there will be a dual-camera setup with a 32MP primary lens & an 8MP secondary snapper.
Coming to OnePlus Buds, the true wireless earphones are expected to come in at least three shades & support warp charging technology. The earbuds are likely to be offered with up to 30 hours of battery life and features such as touch controls & ear detection.
More details of earbuds & Nord smartphone will be revealed during the launch event. Coming to the pricing, the OnePlus Nord is likely to be priced below Rs 37,500 in India whereas OnePlus Buds' price could fall under Rs 7,500.
