Mumbai, June 23: The Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus will officially announce the price of Nord CE 4 Lite tomorrow at 7 pm IST for the Indian market. The budget smartphone will succeed the currently available Nord 3 CE Lite in the product model lineup. The lite version of the Nord CE 4 will be more feature-loaded with faster charging speed, a bigger battery, and more power than its predecessor. Ahead of the scheduled launch, a microsite is live now on Amazon and its official website, revealing key details of the latest member in the Nord series. As for specs, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2100 nits peak brightness. Power will come from Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. OnePlus will offer the 5G phone with more colour options alongside the already-revealed Mega Blue shade.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite budget smartphone will have a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS support. The company has yet to reveal details of the secondary camera, which is likely to be a 2MP depth sensor - we reckon. Upfront, it has a 16MP front snapper for selfies and videos housed in a punch-hole cutout.
It will be the first OnePlus smartphone featuring a massive 5,500 mAh battery supporting 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology. The company claims it can provide a day’s power in just 20 minutes of charging. The latest Nord series smartphone will run on the brand’s Oxygen OS 14.0 based on Android 14 OS out-of-the-box. Another highlight is that it will support reverse charging to charge headphones, accessories or any other smartphone.
In terms of price, the upcoming Nord smartphone will carry an easy-on-pocket price tag that could fall below Rs. 20,000. Currently, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 costs Rs. 24,999, and we reckon the lite version of the phone will be more economical. OnePlus launched Nord CE Lite in India at Rs. 19,999 and is currently available on Amazon for a discounted price of Rs. 17,999.
