Earlier this week, OnePlus had officially confirmed the launch date of its new Nord smartphone - Nord CE 4 Lite. The Chinese smartphone maker will announce the price for its budget-friendly offering in India next week on June 24 at 7 pm IST. The 5G handset will succeed the on-sale Nord CE 3 Lite in the product line-up. A microsite of the upcoming 5G phone is live now on Amazon, confirming key specs and features ahead of its launch. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is said to get a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and up to 2100 nits peak brightness. It will draw power from Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The company has yet to confirm other colours of the phone apart from the Mega Blue shade.

For photography, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will be equipped with a dual rear camera module. The primary camera will be a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS support. The brand has remained coy about the secondary sensor. However, we reckon it could be a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, it has a 16MP front camera placed beneath the display's punch-hole cutout.

The upcoming Nord will be the first smartphone from OnePlus to pack a massive 5,500 mAh battery pack. It also gets 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support, which the company claims can fully charge the phone from 1 per cent in just 52 minutes. It will run on Oxygen OS 14.0 based on Android 14 OS out-of-the-box. The phone will also support reverse charging to charge headphones, accessories or any other smartphone.

As for pricing, the Nord CE Lite 5G could fall below the Rs. 20,000 bracket. It's worth noting that OnePlus sells the Nord CE 4 with a starting price of Rs. 24,999. The lite version of the phone will have a more affordable price tag. OnePlus Nord CE Lite 3 was priced at Rs. 19,999. at the time of India launch. Currently, it is listed online at Rs. 17,999 on the Amazon e-commerce platform.
