It was last month when OnePlus introduced the Core Edition of the Nord device. Now, the company is all set to launch the successor of the original Nord device. Interestingly, the company recently deleted all the posts from Nord's official Instagram account. It appears that the company plans to start afresh for marketing campaigns for the upcoming device. So, it won't be wrong to assume that the arrival of the new Nord smartphone is imminent.
The OnePlus Nord 2 is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, which could be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. The phone is tipped to get a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
If the market reports are to be believed, the phone will get a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP sensor. The company is likely to go with a 32MP shooter up front, which will be housed under a punch-hole notch, for selfies and video calling.
It is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The phone will boot Oxygen OS 11 out of the box. The handset is likely to be priced in India below Rs 30,000. Expect more details surfacing on the internet as we move towards the rumoured launch date.
