New Delhi, September 5: Chinese tech major OnePlus is said to be working on a new Ace-series smartphone, which is going to be dubbed as the OnePlus Ace 3. The reported OnePlus Ace 3, which is the supposed successor to the Ace 2 phone is generating a series of speculations now, and its specs have been also leaked out.

Interestingly, the leaked out specs of the so-called OnePlus Ace 3 matches speculated specs of the upcoming OnePlus 12R. Hence, it is thought that the OnePlus Ace 3 and the OnePlus 12R are going to be essentially the same device with different names for different markets. OnePlus Ace 3 – Speculated Specifications

Just like the OnePlus 11R was rebranded as the OnePlus Ace 2 for many global markets, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 is also expected to be the rebadged version of the OnePlus 12R phone.

The new OnePlus phone would pack in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset backed by up to 16GB/24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 of internal storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with super-fast 100W charging support.

As it happens, the earlier leaked reports on the OnePlus 12R also suggest these same specs as mentioned above, alongside some additional details such as an in-display fingerprint reader, Android 14 OS and connectivity options with obvious 5G support. Hence, it is thought that both these phones are same and would be identical in terms of features, specs and looks as well. The launch timeline of the OnePlus Ace 3 is speculated to be around November.
