OnePlus 8 Pro Prototype Image Leaked Online, Dual Punch-Hole Display & Gradient Design Revealed

The leaked image confirms that the phone will carry dual punch-hole display positioned at the upper right corner. The prototype also flaunts a curved display as seen on OnePlus 7 Pro.

We previously reported that OnePlus' upcoming flagship smartphone - OnePlus 8 Pro would sport a 120Hz Super Smooth display. Though the OnePlus 8 Series is expected to go official by second quarter 2020, we have already seen a couple of render images from famous tipster - @OnLeaks. The renders of OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro gave the first glimpse of the smartphones. Now, a new picture has surfaced on the internet wherein a prototype version of OnePlus 8 Pro can be seen in the hands. This fresh set of images are already doing rounds on Weibo. The leaked image confirms that the phone will carry dual punch-hole display positioned at the upper right corner. The prototype also flaunts a curved display as seen on OnePlus 7 Pro. The image also hints that the phone will pack a quad-camera module at the back with an LED flash. The leaked prototype image also reveals a different gradient back panel, which was not seen on the OnePlus 7T Series. A closer look at the prototype gives a good picture hinting that it could be OnePlus' upcoming smartphone. The device reportedly features an Alert Slider, a curved screen and OxygenOS app drawer. We can also see an elliptical punch-hole on the top-right corner of the display for housing a pair of front-facing cameras. A recent report also suggested that OnePlus could be employing a 120Hz refresh rate display on the upcoming flagship smartphone. On the specification front, we could be seeing Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset - Snapdragon 865 SoC, 12 GB of RAM and much more. However, other details about the smartphone are still under the wraps. Some speculations claim that the phone will support faster wireless charging technology. It is important to note that this piece of information should be taken with a pinch of salt.
