OnePlus 7T New OS Update To Bring 960fps Slow Motion & 4K Wide-Angle Recording Feature: Report

As far as the prices are concerned, the OnePlus 7T gets a starting price of Rs 37,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant whereas the top-end model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at Rs 39,999.

The Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus launched its bi-annual refresh OnePlus 7T in the Indian market last week. Though OnePlus 7T comes loaded with a massive list of features, there are a few that are still missing. One of the features which were mentioned by the company was Super Slow-Motion video recording. According to the company, the smartphone will get the said feature, eventually with a future update. As per the media reports, the smartphone maker is planning to roll out the feature to the camera app with the ability to record slow-motion video at up to 960fps in 720p resolution. This feature is believed to be a significant upgrade as compared to the previous phones that supported only 480fps recording in the same resolution. The report also highlighted that the OnePlus 7T sensors couldn't record 960fps, and the phone will likely get motion interpolation technique for achieving the desired frames. Another major update that is likely to be rolled on OnePlus 7T camera will be the ability to record 4K video at 30fps with the wide-angle camera. As of now, the newly launched smartphone is capable of recording videos using the wide-angle camera only up to 1080p resolution. The 4K video recording at 30fps will help the users to record better quality video with a wide-angle lens.
