OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone maker has officially launched the new OnePlus 6T flagship smartphone at an event in New York. Launched at $549, the smartphone will be available for sale across 5600 stores. Also, the company has also announced partnership with T-Mobile for the US market. The company will be launching the OnePlus 6T in the domestic market tomorrow. Once launched, the smartphone will be retailed online exclusively via Amazon India. The new mid-year upgrade carries considerable updates in terms of features and design than the outgoing version. Taking about the specifications, OnePlus 6T comes with a bigger 6.4-inch AMOLED display with resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The smartphone also carries a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for overall protection. The flagship model also carry an in-display fingerprint sensor underneath, which the company calls Screen Unlock feature. Under the hood, the smartphone continues to pack the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC that is coupled with Adreno 630 GPU for the enhanced and improved experience. The phone is offered in 2 colour options - Midnight Black and Mirror Black. As far as the variants are concerned, the company has offered OnePlus 6T in 3 variants - 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. For optics, the new OnePlus 6T gets a dual camera module featuring a 20MP primary sensor along with 16MP depth-sensing camera proffering a blur background. The company has also introduced OnePlus Bullets Wireless 5th Anniversary Edition which is offered in Red and Black colours at $69. Running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie OS, the new OnePlus 6T is backed by a 3700 mAh battery. The new OnePlus 6T is offered in three variants - 6GB/ 128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The base variant is priced at $549 and the mid-variant costs $579. The top-end variant will retail at $629.
