Chinese Smartphone maker, OnePlus officially launched the successor of  OnePlus 6. Priced at $549 for the base variant - 6GB and 128GB, the new OnePlus 6T will go on sale in India on 1st of November. The company has already taking preorders for the new flagship phone via Amazon India. Likewise OnePlus 6, the newest offering will also be available online through Amazon India only. The interested buyers can purchase the device via offline stores too such as Croma stores and Reliance Digital. Design: Aesthetically, we can say that OnePlus 6T looks more attractive and appealing. When it comes to design, OnePlus 6T undoubtedly stands out with a waterdrop notch on top of the display. The notch houses a couple of sensors and a 16MP front camera. The company has also confirmed that users will be able to disable the notch. Display: OnePlus 6T also gets a bigger display screen than the OnePlus smartphone. It gets 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display screen with 2340x1080 px of resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The new flagship model also gets In-display Fingerprint Sensor that OnePlus is calling as Screen Unlock. The company claims that the module can unlock the device in 0.34 seconds. On the contrary, the predecessor of OnePlus 6T featured 6.28-inch optic AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Camera: This is the only department wherein the new OnePlus 6T smartphone is not carrying updates. It continues to feature same Sony sensors that were offered on OnePlus 6. The rear setup is a dual camera module featuring a 16MP primary sensor along with a 20MP secondary sensor. The front camera also remains unchanged with a 16MP lens. However, the company has emphasised on improving its low light photography with a new feature called Nightscene. This new feature is capable of producing bright images even in low light conditions with the help of a new algorithm. This feature will be rolled out to OnePlus by next week. Variants: Coming to the variants, OnePlus 6T comes in 3 versions - 6GB +128GB, 8GB +128GB and 8GB + 256GB of RAM and ROM respectively. The base variant of OnePlus 6T now gets 6GB + 128GB. On the other hand, OnePlus 6 was also offered in 3 variations depending upon on the RAM and internal memory offered. The base variant of OnePlus 6 featured 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

Colour: The newly launched OnePlus 6T comes with two exciting shades - Mirror Black and Midnight Black. The company is offering only two colour options on the device. OnePlus 6T was offered in 3 shades - Midnight Black, Mirror Black & Silk White. The third colour option was not offered with OnePlus 6T. Prices: As far as the prices go, OnePlus 6T is priced from $549 (around Rs 40,000) for the base variant featuring 6GB of RAM. The mid variant with 8GB and 128GB of storage gets a price tag of $579 (around Rs 42,500). The top ranging version with 256GB internal storage and 8GB of RAM costs $629 (approximately Rs 46,200). However, the company has not revealed the official prices for the smartphone in India. The India prices for the smartphone will be revealed tonight at the event. OnePlus 6, on the other hand, was launched in the Indian market earlier this year with a starting price of Rs 34,990 for the 64GB variant. Battery: This is another department where OnePlus has brought a considerable upgrade to OnePlus 6T. The phone packs a 3700 mAh battery that is capable of providing seamless flagship experience throughout the day. OnePlus 6 featured a slightly smaller battery with a capacity of 3300 mAh.
