OnePlus 6T Smartphone with Type C Bullets Headphones Teased Online; India Launch Imminent – Watch Video

After launching OnePlus 6 in the global and domestic markets earlier this year, the Chinese smartphone is now gearing up to introduce the new flagship product - OnePlus 6T. The new flagship smartphone from OnePlus 6 is expected to be unveiled on October 17, however, there is no official date from the company yet. When launched in the country, the OnePlus 6T will be retailed online exclusively via Amazon India. Moreover, the e-retailer has started teasing the upcoming device on the website and a teaser page has been introduced ahead of the launch. The official teaser stars Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan - who is the brand ambassador of OnePlus in the country. The smartphone has partnered with Amazon ever since it entered the domestic market and the upcoming flagship product will be Amazon exclusive. The interested customers can sign up for notifications regarding the new flagship device from OnePlus. Moreover, the teaser featuring Big B does not reveal any design but it managed to hint at an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is believed to be one of the essential features. As far as the specifications are concerned, the forthcoming OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display with a water drop notch. The new flagship smartphone is expected to feature slightly better screen-to-body than the predecessor with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The OnePlus 6T will feature in-display fingerprint sensor, which has been confirmed by the company recently.  Under the hood, the OnePlus 6T could be powered by the same Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC as seen on the current flagship model. Moreover, no major upgrade is likely to be seen in the /memory department. It is likely to be offered in the same 3 variants - 6GB+64GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB of RAM and inbuilt storage respectively. Coming to the camera department, the upcoming OnePlus 6T could be packed with the same set of camera module - 16MP primary shooter and 20MP secondary camera which will be AI-enabled for enhanced pictures. The front camera is also expected to remain untouched - a 16MP snapper. It is also expected to run the latest Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box.
