OnePlus, a popular Chinese smartphone maker will be launching the new OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition on December 12 in the Indian market. The company will also be celebrating its fifth anniversary with the launch of McLaren Edition. As per the market report, the special edition of OnePlus will be retailed as the top-of-the-line variant of OnePlus 6T. Moreover, the company has collaborated with McLaren Racing for OnePlus 6T special edition. Several reports claim that the smartphone will sport 10GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM. However, all the rumours will come to rest when OnePlus will unveil the eagerly awaited smartphone next week. The company is scheduled to launch OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition during the anniversary 'Salute to Speed' event that is slated to happen in Mumbai at Richardson and Cruddas Limited. The event will commence from 6 PM IST. The company will also broadcasting the launch event of the smartphone at the social media platforms. On the specification front, the new OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is likely to sport a 6.41-inch FHD+ Optic AMOLED display with corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The screen will feature resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, which will be clubbed with Adreno 630 GPU. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will run Android 9.0 Pie with OxygenOS 9.0 on the top, the smartphone is backed by a 3700mAh battery supporting Dash Charge.
