After launching OnePlus 6 globally, OnePlus is now gearing up for the launch of flagship’s cousin – OnePlus 6T. As per the report from CNET, OnePlus will launch OnePlus 6T in October, which is believed to be the same time when Google will launch the new Pixel 3 devices. Moreover, the OnePlus will be introducing the OnePlus 6T handset with an exclusive deal with US carrier - T Mobile. Previously, Pete Lau – CEO of OnePlus said that the company is working on introducing smartphones sold by US carriers. This hints that there will be a specific version of OnePlus 6T which will be optimised for T-Mobile's network reports CNET. However, the exclusive partnership is witnessing some issues. The report states, “The only hiccup with the US launch could come from the testing required by T-Mobile to get certification on the network. OnePlus is still in the process of getting what’s known as “technical approval” at the carrier, according to one person. Failure to get the approval could cause a delay with the carrier launch.”
The report also highlights that the OnePlus 6T will be slightly higher than the one we have seen on the previous T-versions till date. Reportedly, it is speculated that the OnePlus 6T will be priced somewhere around $550 that will be a hike of $20 in comparison to the current flagship’s price tag. After conversion, the price tag constitutes around Rs. 39,000 for the Indian market.
