Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus will be introducing the successor of OnePlus 6 at an event in New York tonight, which is slated to commence in next couple of hours. The new OnePlus 6T will be the newest flagship offering from the phone maker that will also launch the device in India tomorrow. The new mid-year upgrade will carry considerable updates in terms of features and design than the outgoing version. The company will be streaming the event on its official social media handles. Under the hood, the phone will still be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship chipset – 845 SoC clubbed with Adreno GPU 630 and up to 8GB of RAM as well as up to 256GB of ROM. For photography, the handset will continue to feature same optics as seen on the predecessor. The rear module will be the same 20MP primary and 16MP secondary sensors for enhanced photography. Moreover, the company is expected to introduce improved front camera (20MP) with f/1.7 aperture.
