Post OnePlus 6T launch in New York, the Chinese smartphone maker will be rolling the successor of OnePlus 6 in India today. The launch event is scheduled to commence at 8.30 PM IST at KDJW stadium inside Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi. Though the company has already revealed the smartphone on Monday, the Chinese smartphone maker will reveal the prices for the device tonight. The new flagship smartphone from OnePlus largely carries the same features that were leaked ahead of its launch. The India launch event will be live streamed exclusively through social media handles as well as official YouTube channel. Though the company has already revealed the smartphone, it will remain the same in terms of features and specifications. It comes with a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with 2340x1080 Pixel of resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Underlining the overall design of the smartphone is the all-new Waterdrop Notch on the top, housing sensors and all-new 20MP front camera. Another highlight upfront is an in-display fingerprint sensor, which OnePlus calls 'Screen Unlock'.

Powering the newest flagship model is the same Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is already seen on the predecessor that is mated to Adreno 630 GPU for seamless gaming and flagship experience. In terms of variants, the phone will be available in 3 versions depending on the storage capacity and RAM offered.

The photography department too has seen a considerable upgrade. The handset now sports an updated 20MP front snapper with f/1.7 aperture for selfies and video calling. Running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, the smartphone will be offered in 3 variants - 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. However, the base variant now starts from 6GB and 128GB.

The smartphone is also backed with a bigger capacity battery of 3700 mAh battery. The prices for the smartphone in the Indian market will be revealed tonight.
