OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer is all geared up to launch its next generation flagship smartphone - OnePlus 6 soon. With the rumours doing rounds in the market, it is believed that the all-new OnePlus 6 could be introduced by the end of this month. Confirming the name of the flagship model, the company officially teased the smartphone recently by sharing a 4 second video via its Twitter handle. Moreover, the video features number 6 on the screen along with a tag line - 'The Speed You Need' and caption - 6et Ready’. This has officially confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be christened as OnePlus 6.

Recently, a new leaked surfaced on the internet which revealed the launch details about the upcoming smartphone. Going by the report by GizmoChina, it is expected that the Chinese smartphone maker will launch the new OnePlus 6 earlier this year which might be April end. Considering the previous launches by the company, every year the smartphone was launched in the month of June, but this time around, the smartphone is expected to see the light earlier than the estimated time.

Likewise iPhoneX, the smartphone maker has confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will sport front facing notch on the display screen which will be smaller in size as compared to the former. The notch on the smartphone could measure 19.616 x 7.687mm reports Verge. It is also believed that the next generation OnePlus 6 smartphone will be offered in 3 variants - 64GB, 128GB and 256GB as per the latest leak.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the upcoming OnePlus 6 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It will run on Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box upgradable to Android P updates in the future. Lastly, coming to the price point, the forthcoming new OnePlus 6 smartphone is expected to be priced premium than the current OnePlus 5T by 50 percent. The smartphone is expected to get price tag of $749 which is approximately Rs. 48,800.
