Mumbai, September 1: The Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus could launch the OnePlus 12 successor, the OnePlus 13, sooner than anticipated. According to a tipster, OnePlus might launch the OnePlus 13 within a couple of months in China followed by a global debut. The upcoming flagship phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, and the same is likely to be showcased at the annual Snapdragon Summit next month.

Taking to Weibo – a Chinese microblogging website, the tipster claims that OnePlus has advanced the press conference for the OnePlus, which will be the brand’s next-in flagship model. He also claimed that the brand is targeting this window so that the handset will be available for sale during Double 11 in China. If launched by early November, the OnePlus supposedly will go on sale during the sale festival. For starters, Double 11 popularly known as Single’s Day will be held on November 11 in China. If the market reports are to be believed, the OnePlus 13 could pack a Qualcomm-sourced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. The handset is tipped to boast a 2K LTPO OLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner. For optics, it could use the OnePlus 12’s 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor. However, the ultra-wide-angle camera and telephoto camera could get 50MP sensors. It is said to carry an IP69 rating for protection against dust and water. The phone is expected to get a bigger 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
