Beijing, October 21: OnePlus is set to launch its next-gen OnePlus 13 smartphone in China on October 31, 2024, likely with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor offering significant improvement in terms of performance and AI features. The upcoming flagship smartphone from OnePlus is expected to come with the latest Android 15 system-based OxygenOS 15 out of the box. The smartphone will first arrive in China, then in the global market, and then be launched in India.

According to reports, the smartphone company OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch its new OnePlus 13 on October 31, 2024. The device is expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or 8 Gen Elite processor. According rumours, the smartphone might feature Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition. OnePlus 13 is expected to house a 50MP triple camera setup on the rear and retain the 13MP selfie camera on the front. This time, the smartphone company may introduce a larger 6,000mAh or 6,100mAH battery compared to the predecessor OnePlus 12's 5,400mAh battery. In terms of powering up, the OnePlus 13 is expected to retain the 100W fast charging and likely offer a 50W wireless charging option as well.

On the display side, the OnePlus 13 will reportedly sport a 6.9-inch large BOE X2 curved panel offering a maximum 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The display would additionally support Dolby Vision. The report mentioned that the device would sport a 50MP LYT-808 primary camera, a 50MP Samsung JN5 lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600. The smartphone will be rated IP68/IP69  for better protection against dust and water. It is expected to have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The company is expected to reveal more details before October 31, 2024.
