Mumbai, January 3: OnePlus is all set to launch its most awaited OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R in India on January 23, 2024. OnePlus 12 was launched in China with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 24GB RAM, and 1TB storage. The device featured a 6.82-inch large AMOLED LTPO display offering 2K resolution and support of HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid among other premium features.

OnePlus announced it will introduce the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones on January 23, 2024. The company is expected to introduce its OnePlus 12 model in India with the exact specifications as the China variant. However, there has yet to be a confirmation. OnePlus 12R Specifications and Features (Leaked): 

As per Business Standard's report, the OnePlus 12R may feature a fourth-generation LTPO ProXDR Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display may offer a more fluid and intuitive touch experience without lags. As per the report, the users may get a smoother experience through a dynamic refresh rate that can move from 90Hz to 72Hz. The report by Times of India said that this refresh rate could help minimise battery consumption.

The report mentioned that the OnePlus 12R will likely have a 5,500mAh battery supporting 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Regarding colour options, OnePlus may launch the devices in Cool Blue and Iron Grey with metallic frames. According to the Business Standard's report, the company's new "alert slider" may allow it to have a new antenna system for increased connectivity.

The report said the OnePlus 12R might have a 50MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, and 32MP telephoto lens. It could have a 6.74-inch AMOLED ProXDR 120Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and OxygenOS 14. OnePlus 12R Launch Details: 

OnePlus 12R and OnePlus 12 will be launched during the 'Smooth Beyond Belief Launch' event set to start at 5:30PM at Gate No.4, Pragati Maidan, Delhi. The ticket for the launch event is priced at Rs 599, and the company has already initiated an 'early bird ticket sale'. The ticket entry is limited to 18+ years old people.
