Mumbai, July 10: The Chinese tech giant on Wednesday officially teased a new Sunset Dune colour variant of the OnePlus 12R on its social media accounts. Launched in the Indian market earlier this year, the OnePlus 12R is a re-branded version of the OnePlus Ace 3. Currently, the 5G phone comes to the domestic market in two shades - Cool Blue and Iron Grey, unlike the Ace 3 phone that retails in China with three colourways - Sand Gold, Moon Sea Blue, and Star Black. Now, the smartphone will arrive in a new Sunset Dune colourway for the Indian market.

This development comes just ahead of the OnePlus Summer Launch event, scheduled for next week in Milan, Italy, wherein the marque will launch five products. It includes OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus Pad 2, Nord Buds 3 Pro and Watch 2R. Moto G85 5G Launched in India.

Apart from the new Sunset Dune colour, the overall specifications of the OnePlus 12R are likely to remain unchanged. For the uninitiated, OnePlus sports a 6.78-inch 120Hz ProXDR display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For photography, there is a triple camera unit at the rear. It comprises a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. OnePlus 12R packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology. It runs on OxygenOS 14 UI based on Android 14. The brand has promised three major OS updates and four years of security updates. OnePlus 12R is available in 3 variants – 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 16GB+256GB. The base and mid variants cost INR 39,999 and INR 42,999, respectively. The top-end variant carries a price tag of INR 45,999.
