New York, August 20: NVIDIA plans to roll out a new capability to help players link their Xbox account to the GeForce Now cloud service for automatic sign-in. This will allow gamers to quickly access games, as they will no longer need to log in separately to their GeForce account. The new NVIDIA feature is set to be introduced on August 22, 2024.
The Verge said in its report that by linking the Xbox account to GeForce Now, the users would have to log in once and next time, it would remember the session and automatically give access. Once the users sign in and link their Xbox profile, the GeForce Now sessions will be stored for future attempts. NVIDIA said that this new feature would join the Xbox game library sync on GeForce. The company said it would allow the members to sync their supported Xbox Game Pass and their Microsoft Store games to the cloud streaming library. Last year, NVIDIA began rolling out access to PC Game Pass and Microsoft Store game titles on its GeForce Now services. The tech giant did this before account syncing was added to get the Microsoft Store's games to the GeForce Now library.
The company had already provided these features to the members; however, there was no automatic sign-in option. The latest update was announced just a week after Microsoft integrated GeForce Now into an Xbox account on the web. The report mentioned that users would have a choice between the Xbox Cloud Gaming or GeForce Now cloud streaming service while viewing the listing of the games on the web.
