Mozilla introduces a way to browse through your daily feeds with Firefox Reality, enabling users to experience virtual reality internet surfing. Now available in Viveport, Google’s Daydream and Oculus store.

Mozilla, one of the most-used search engines has introduced a new mode of browsing called Firefox Reality, designed to give users an immersive experience in their browsing sessions. Since this new browser will be VR enabled, one should have a VR headset like an Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Google Daydream View and Samsung Gear VR. Mozilla has paved a new path in browsing experience with the help of virtual reality. Though VR games and apps have already been seen in the market for more than two years now, it's the first time that the technology has been used for a search engine. With Mozilla’s Firefox Reality, the user can directly dive into the virtual system and start surfing in a jiffy. The application will be, available on both the platforms, desktop as well as the phone. Talking about the new Firefox Reality, the browser comes with many features that allow for a seamless browsing experience, also while viewing VR content. The VR browser enables users to search web content through voice commands and gestures. As for availability of the application, it’s currently applicable for download on Oculus store and also supports Oculus Go; other VR stores like Google’s Daydream and HTC’s Viveport will also feature it. Though virtual reality is not currently in the mainstream and still needs more stability concerning the compatibility of devices and hardware, it seems Mozilla has taken a step towards enhancing the future ecosystem in virtual reality.
