Mumbai, July 18: After the success of Nothing Phone 2a in India and other countries, UK-based Nothing Technologies is gearing up to introduce its new variant, Nothing Phone 2a Plus. The new Nothing Phone 2a Plus variant is expected to have better specifications and features than the Phone 2a,  launched on March 5, 2024. 

Like the Nothing Phone 2a, the upcoming Plus variant is expected to be an affordable smartphone with slight improvement, likely in the performance, camera and other features. The report highlighted that the smartphone is covered in secrecy due to the silence of the Nothing company. However, on July 15, the company posted a pixelated picture of what looks like a dragon or a Pokémon and reportedly a "+" sign. By sharing these details, the report said that the company might launch the device in India and the global market soon. 

In terms of price, the report hinted that the upcoming Nothing Phone 2a Plus model might be launched at a higher price and with upgraded specifications and features. The design might remain the same or be slightly improved as well. Nothing Technologies has yet to share a teaser video and officially announce the launch. Nothing Phone 2a was launched with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel offering Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It offered a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor, 50MP+50MP primary camera setup and 32MP front-facing camera. Nothing Phone 2a was introduced for longer usage hours with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. The Nothing Phone 2a could have higher specifications and price than this smartphone.
