The Home Of Nokia Phones, HMD Global is reported to be working on a new smartphone, which rumours suggest could be a second premium phone after Nokia 8 Sirocco. As per reports from an online leakster Roland Quandt, Nokia may launch a new smartphone dubbed as Nokia A1 Plus. The device could be named later as Nokia 9 where A1P or A1 Plus are the codenames. The leakster further clarifies the nomenclature that during MWC 2018 the Finnish smartphone company launched Nokia 8 Sirocco was codenamed A1N, which could mean that the upcoming phone may have similar specifications or features to its predecessor.
Based on leaked reports by WinFuture, Nokia 9 or A1 Plus is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and may feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Whereas rumours also hint that the upcoming top spec device could get a 256GB of internal storage and is expected to sport a 6.01-inch OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Another report also suggests that the upcoming smartphone could have a triple camera setup of 41MP+20MP+9.7MP sensors at the back panel. According to reports, the premium smartphone may adopt Vivo NEX S like a pop-up camera and that the new camera will have a massive upgrade regarding performance and stability.
