HMD Global has officially announced the prices for Nokia 8 Sirocco at an event in Delhi today which was introduced at MWC 2018 earlier this year. Moreover, the Finnish company has also revealed the prices for Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1 and new 2018 Nokia 6 models at the same event. While Nokia 8 Sirocco is company’s flagship smartphone that offers better experience than Nokia 8, the Nokia 7 Plus too offers an upgraded experience than its predecessor. Moreover, both the smartphones comes powered by Google’s Android One initiative proffering stock android experience with no customization. Nokia 8 Sirocco Vs Nokia 7 Plus - Price: As far as the pricing is concerned, the new Nokia 8 Sirocco is priced at Rs. 49,999 for the Indian market which is offered in 3 colour options. The flagship smartphone is priced at EUR 749 (approximately 60,000) which is called global average price excluding taxes as well as subsidies. On the other hand, the new Nokia 7 Plus will attract the Indian buyers with a price tag of Rs. 25,999. The price for the smartphone in the European market is EUR 399 which is roughly Rs. 32,000.

Nokia 8 Sirocco Vs Nokia 7 Plus - Specifications: Coming to the specifications, the new Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphone sports a 5.5-inch QHD pOLED display with 1440x2560 pixels resolution which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also gets an Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. Fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor, the smartphone gets 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage capacity with no expanding options via microSD card.

For shooting, the new flagship device gets dual camera setup featuring a 12-megapixel wide-angle primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture alongside a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.6 aperture. The camera setup proffers 2x optical zoom and dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone also carries a 5-megapixel fixed-focus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels sensor for selfie lovers. The new Nokia 7 Plus, on the other hand, is a successor of Nokia 7 smartphone which was launched in the country last year. It comes with Android Oreo out of the box along with 6-inch full HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Paired with 4BG of LPDD4 RAM, the smartphone is fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC along with 64GB of storage capacity which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

Talking about the camera department, the smartphone also gets a dual camera setup like Nokia 8 Sirocco featuring 12-megapixel primary wide-angle sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor respectively with Zeiss optics and 2X optical zoom. The front camera, on the other hand, is a 16-megapixel fixed-focus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and Zeiss optics. Connectivity duties on the device is handled by 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Type-C USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Nokia 8 Sirocco Vs Nokia 7 Plus - Availability: The new Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphone will be available for pre-bookings from April 20 which will on-sale on April 30 exclusively on Flipkart. On the other hand, the all-new Nokia 7 Plus will also be available for pre-bookings on April 20 before going on sale from April 30.
