In a bid to expand its product portfolio in the domestic market, HMD Global today officially launched 4 new smartphones - Nokia 1, new Nokia 6, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco in the country. Offering extensive product portfolio, the Finnish company aims to offer enhanced Nokia experience and craftsmanship with these new products. The new Nokia 1, Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 Plus are priced at Rs. 5,499, Rs. 16,999 and Rs. 25,999 respectively, of which Nokia 1 is already on sale. However, Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 Plus will be available for pre-bookings from April 6 and April 20 respectively.

Talking about the new Nokia 7 Plus, the smartphone is introduced in the market as an improved version of Nokia 7 which was launched last year. The smartphone comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 coupled to 4G of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage capacity that can be increased up to 256GB via microSD card. The device comes triple Zeiss camera setup wherein the rear optics consists of 13MP primary camera with f/2.6 aperture and 12MP secondary shooter with f/1.75 aperture. It also gets 16MP fixed sensor front camera with Zeiss optics for low light selfies. Fitted with 6-inch FHD+ display, the smartphone gets a 3800 mAh battery life which is touted to be sufficient for 2 days.

Nokia 6, on the other hand, the smartphone flaunts seamless aluminum uni-body diamond cut edge design coupled with a Zeiss optics, a facial recognition feature, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 system-on-chip, Qi wireless charging, voice command, bothie, and much more. The company claims that the new processor is 60 percent faster than the predecessor’s chipset. Built from single solid block of aluminium, the new Nokia 6 is offered in 3 colour options - Blue, Black Copper and Iron Gold. Other highlights of the new Nokia 6 are 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio, 16MP camera at the rear, 8MP front camera and 3000mAh battery life.

Nokia 1 is basically an entry level smartphone which runs on Android Oreo (Go edition) which is optimized for lower configuration devices. The device features 4.5-inch HD IPS display, a quad core MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage capacity expandable to 128GB, 2150 mAh battery. Already on sale from March 28 in India, Nokia 1 is available in 2 colours - Red and Blue.
