HMD Global has finally launched Nokia 7.1 smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs 19,999. As a reminder, the phone was launched globally in month of October itself. This new Android One smartphone from Nokia will go on sale in India on December 7. Moreover, the new Nokia 7.1 is introduced as a replacement for Nokia 7 Plus that was launched in the country earlier this year. The main underlines of the new Nokia 7.1 phone are Snapdragon 636 SoC, ZEISS optics, HDR PureDisplay, 3060 mAh battery and much more. On the specification front, the newly launched Nokia 7.1 smartphone comes with a 5.83-inch FHD+ HDR 10 display screen with 2244 x 1080 pixels of resolution. Protected by Gorilla Glass 3, the phone gets and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, the new Nokia 7.1 is powered by Qualcomm’s Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 chipset that is clubbed with Adreno 509 GPU. The processor is also clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 400GB via external microSD. Running Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, the newly launched Nokia 7.1 will be upgradable to the latest version of OS - Android 9.

In the camera department, the phone comes with a dual rear camera module featuring a 12MP primary sensor with ZEISS optics & f/1.8 aperture. The secondary rear sensor is a 5MP Monochrome unit with f/2.4 aperture. The rear setup also comes dual LED flash. For safety and security, the company has incorporated rear mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual 4G VoLTE, hybrid SIM slot, Nokia OZO audio and much more. For connectivity, the smartphone gets Type-C 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 5 and much more. The smartphone is offered in 2 exciting shades - Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel. The phone is slated to go on sale on December 7 across all retailers as well as official Nokia website.
