HMD Global is all set to launch their next smartphone in India tomorrow. So far, even the teaser image and the video has revealed nothing about the phone, including its name. As per the teaser video published on the Flipkart website, the upcoming device will be available exclusively on Flipkart. Earlier this month, the Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone was spotted on the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications as well as the Nokia 6.1 Plus user guide was also sported on the Indian website of Nokia mobiles. From these reports, we can expect that the upcoming device in India could be the Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphones. Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone was launched in Hong Kong in July, so we can expect similar specifications to be sported on the device, which is likely to unveil tomorrow in India. The Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone comes with a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with resolutions of 1080 X 2280 pixels at an aspect ratio of 19:9. This device from Nokia will be the first one to have the iconic notch on its display. As for the design the phone flaunts a shiny glass back bonded with an aluminium frame; also the screen comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover protection. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage expandable up to 256 GB. Also, the phone carries a 3060 mAh battery, capable of a fast-charging option via USB Type-C port. On the optics side, the device sports a dual camera setup of 16MP + 5MP sensors at the rear. Whereas, the front of the devices incorporates a 16MP lens for selfies and video chats. The smartphone offers many AI features such as optimised colour contrast, depth of field, portrait mode and lighting effects. The device also supports HDR and features Bothie mode, where the user can take selfies from both the cameras (front and back) at the same time. The device comes in three colour options - black, blue and white, which could change after the official launch in India. Planned as a budget smartphone, the price for this device is expected to around Rs 20,000. Also, the smartphone runs on the latest Android OS, since Nokia 6.1 Plus is an Android One smartphone.
