Nokia 5.1 Plus Price in India Officially Announced; To Go On Sale on October 1 via Flipkart

HMD Global, a Finnish company that sells Nokia smartphones officially announced the price and the availability of Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone. Priced at Rs 10,999, the Nokia 5.1 Plus was previously launched alongside Nokia 6.1 Plus that is already on sale in India. The smartphone is also slated to go on sale on October 1, which will be retailed exclusively via Flipkart. The smartphone will also be available for purchase on Nokia's own website from Oct 1. The smartphone flaunts a glass body which is underlined by a 5.8 inch HD+ display with a notch on the top along with 19:9 aspect ratio. The device also gets a 2.5D Cover Glass and 1600 x 900 pixels of resolution. Powering the new Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor clubbed with up to 4GB of RAM. The SoC is also mated with up to 64GB of internal storage that is expandable to 400GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM smartphone comes in 2 variants - 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. In the camera department, the Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone sports a dual camera setup at the back featuring - a 13MP primary with f/2 aperture and a 5MP secondary lens with LED flash. The front camera is an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The device is powered by a Mediatek Helio P60 chip and comes equipped with either 3GB or 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage fuelled by a 3,060mAh battery. The smartphone is backed by 3060 mAh battery. Running Android Oreo 8.1.0 out of the box, the handset will be upgradable to Android P.
