As far as the availability is concerned, the Redmi Y3 will go on sale in India on April 30 at 12 PM IST whereas Redmi 7 will retail on April 29 across Amazon, Mi Stores, Mi.com and authorised stores.
The Chinese phone brand officially launched Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 smartphones in India that are priced from Rs 7,999 and Rs 9,999 respectively. The newly launched Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 are introduced as successors to Redmi Y2 and Redmi 7 phones. However, the Redmi 7 is believed to be the biggest upgrade over the predecessor that was introduced last year. Talking about the specifications, the phone comes with a 6.26-inch display with a dot notch screen, carrying an aspect ratio of 19:9 and resolution of 1520x720p. The company has incorporated polycarbonate for building the rear panel of the Redmi 7. For photography, there is a dual rear camera comprising of 12MP primary shooter and a 2MP secondary snapper for depth effect. At the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter with AI portrait mode, AI beautify 4.0 mode, and Palm shutter. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 632 chipset which is mated with 2GB and 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal space. The phone is fuelled by a huge 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI 10. The Redmi Y3 gets a 6.26-inch HD+ display with a dot-notch with 19:9 aspect ratio. Protected by Gorilla Glass 5, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 632 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. The main underline of the phone is its 32MP selfie shooter with EIS, full HD video recording and AI portrait mode. The rear camera setup features a 12MP snapper with a 2MP secondary camera. The rear module also gets EIS, AI scene detection and dual-LED flash. The Redmi Y3 runs on Android 9 based on MIUI 10 and it is backed by a 4000 mAh battery. The entry level variant is priced at Rs 9,999 for 3GB RAM whereas the 4GB version will cost Rs 11,999.
