We previously reported that WhatsApp is working on introducing new features to the messaging platform. There have been reports in the market that the company will be introducing dark mode to social messaging soon. However, this remains to be seen that how soon WhatsApp will introduce this new feature. As per the report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp's beta version - 2.19.3 update is provided with a new type of authentication for Android users. It further reported that the company was initially planning to introduce Face ID and Touch ID integration features on the WhatsApp for iOS users. However, these new features are not yet offered certainly for developmental reasons. On the other hand, the company started focusing on the WhatsApp fingerprint authentication for Android users.

The report further highlighted that this new feature will be offered on Android as well as iOS. Moreover, the beta users will be able to see a new section in the application with an option to enable the Fingerprint feature. The report also stated that the company is also working on the improved version of Audio picker wherein the users will be able to preview the audio file prior sending it. Lately, WhatsApp has also added some new features for Apple iPhone users such as adding personal stickers, replay privately, 3D Touch action for Status, Group Stickers management and much more. These features are offered with beta update - 2.19.10.21 for iOS users.
