Realme, a Chinese smartphone making company on Monday officially announced the launch of two new variants of Realme C1 smartphone. The company has added two new editions - 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM & 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM to its affordable Realme C1 line-up. Priced from Rs 7499 for 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory variant, the smartphones are slated to go on sale on February 5 exclusively via Flipkart. As a reminder, the company launched the Realme C1 handset last year in September with a price tag of Rs 6999. The phone is packed 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, Snapdragon 450 SoC, 4230 mAh battery and more. On the specification front, the new Realme C1 (2019) smartphones are identical to the original Realme C1 edition that was launched in the domestic market last year. The phone comes with 6.2-inch HD+ display screen with resolution of 1520x720 pixels. The notch less screen of the smartphone also gets Corning Gorilla glass protection and 19:9 aspect ratio.

Powering the smartphone is an octa-core chipset from Qualcomm - Snapdragon 450 SoC, which is mated with Adreno 406 GPU and up to 3GB of RAM. The company also offers up to 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. For photography, the new Realme C1 (2019) gets a dual camera setup at the back comprising of 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP secondary sensor along with LED flash and AI-enabled features such as portrait mode, PDAF, and an Intelligent AI Beauty feature. At the front, the handset also packs a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling.

For connectivity, the dual-SIM Realme C1 (2019) gets 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.1 skin. Coming to the pricing, the new Realme C1 (2019) is launched at Rs 7499 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory variant. On the other hand, the bigger variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage costs Rs 8499. Moreover, the company is also planning to retail its devices via offline retail stores.
