Google will be launching the highly awaited Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, affordable Pixel devices at Google IO 2019 annual developer conference on May 7 in California. To be launched in the Indian market on May 8 technically, a new leak has been spotted online that reveals the official Pixel 3a XL device pricing in India. If this reports are true, the 6GB RAM variant of the top-end model - Pixel 3a XL will be launched at Rs 44,999. Though this pricing could be for the bigger model, the company will also be retailing a 4GB RAM model along with 32GB internal space. So, expect a cheaper pricing for the base variant of Pixel 3a XL.
Moreover, the smaller Pixel 3a version is expected to be much cheaper than the bigger Pixel 3a XL considering that it could be powered by a Snapdragon 670 SoC. The hanset is likely to feature a 5.6-inch FHD+ OLED display. Additionally, the leaked picture also confirms that Pixel 3a XL would be shipped with Snapdragon 710 chipset, a bigger 6-inch FHD+ OLED display, 12.2MP rear camera and 8MP wide-angle sensor upfront. It is also reported that the new Pixel 3a line-up is likely to come with Active Edge technology.
Some of the main underline of the new Pixel 3a devices will be rear fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, a headphone jack and USB Type-C. As far as battery capacity is concerned, both the devices will be backed by the same 3,000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support. Considering previous render images and leaks, Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphone could be offered in three colour options - White, Black and Purple. Moreover, the phones will come enabled with a Night mode, which the company has been teasing on Flipkart lately. We could also see Screen call feature on the devices along with 3 years of security and OS updates.
