New OnePlus 6T Promo Images Leaked Ahead of October 29 Global Launch

Though the arrival of OnePlus 6T is couple of days away, the information about the device doesn't seems to be stopping. After the rendered images hitting the internet, the specification sheet and promo images of the device have leaked online that has revealed the smartphone completely ahead of its official launch. The new leaked promo images shows waterdrop notch design upfront as well as new specification details. The smartphone also has been spotted on Antutu with score underlining its overall performance. The leaked specifications also confirms that the OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display with 2340x1080px of resolution along with aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The smartphone will carry a waterdrop notch on the top, which will be similar to the one seen on some smartphones from Oppo and Vivo. Likely to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6, the smartphone will achieve a 86 percent of screen-to-body ratio. The company has already confirmed in-display fingerprint sensor that has been teased in several teasers in the past. Several reports claim that next flagship model will borrow the chipset from the predecessor, which will be the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. The chipset could be mated to up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of ROM. We previously reported that OnePlus 6T will be offered in 3 variants, however, the base variant this time around will be 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant. The report also tips that the phone will run latest version of Android 9.0 Pie OS.

In the camera department, the smartphone is expected to feature same set of optics seen on the previous model. The configuration could be similar to OnePlus 6 featuring 16MP + 20MP sensors at the back and a 20MP lens upfront. Confirmed to feature a bigger battery than the predecessor, the newest flagship model from OnePlus will sport 3700 mAh battery. Also, the phone will ditch 3.5mm headphone jack. Previously, there has been several reports regarding the price leak of the smartphone hinting that the device will be slightly premium than the predecessor. We previously reported that the prices of OnePlus 6T for the European market were leaked ahead of the launch.
