New OnePlus 6: Launch Date, Features, Expected Price, Specifications - All You Need To Know

OnePlus 6 is one of the highly anticipated smartphones in the country which is slated to be unveiled on May 17. The next flagship device from OnePlus will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India on May 21 for prime members only. The smartphone will make its global debut on May 16 at an event in London. The company has been teasing the flagship device for quite some time now. With just few hours left in the unveiling, the new OnePlus 6 device will be launched in India on May 17 in Mumbai at 3pm. Coming to the specifications, the new OnePlus 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC that will be mated up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage capacity. The handset is expected to be offered in 3 variants based on the RAM size offered - 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. The smartphone will also sport vertical rear camera similar to the one seen on Samsung Galaxy S9+. However, the company hasn't revealed the camera specifications yet. But, it is speculated that the device will sport 16MP dual camera with LED flash light and 20MP snapper upfront.

Moreover, recent leaks has revealed that the new OnePlus 6 smartphone will sport “Mirror Black” finish giving a stylish appeal to the device. The company will also be introducing a special edition of OnePlus 6 smartphone which could be called as OnePlus 6x Marvel Avengers Edition alongside the regular smartphone. The company has also announced the Fast AF Sale for the OnePlus 6 flagship device wherein interested buyers can pre-book the device and get a cashback of Rs. 1000 post purchase. The company is also offering extended warranty of 3 months as a part of the sale.

Coming to the price point, the new OnePlus 6 flagship smartphone is expected to get starting price of around Rs. 36,000 for the 64GB variant while the top end variant could be priced approximately Rs. 45,000.
