New OnePlus 6 Images Leaked Online Ahead of India Launch; Exchange Programme Revamped
OnePlus has updated its trade-in programme which is currently offered in Europe markets only. The new OnePlus 6 device will compete against the likes of Honor 10, Samsung Galaxy S9, iPhone 8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.
The hype for OnePlus' new flagship device is growing each day as the launch date for the smartphone is due next week. Various leaks, rumors and live images have already hit the internet ahead of its launch. Slated to launch in the Indian market on May 17, new render images of the smartphone have surfaced on the net giving a closer look of the device courtesy OnLeaks and CompareRaja. We also reported that the smartphone will be available for pre-bookings ahead of launch from May 13 - May 16 exclusively via Amazon India. The new render images are very much similar with the previous renders already available on the internet. However, the company has been teasing the much awaited smartphone on the regular intervals revealing design and other details. Recently, Amitabh Bachchan accidently leaked the device by tweeting it out on his official Twitter handle ahead of its launch confirming at least two colours - Black and White. On the spec front, the new OnePlus 6 is likely to sport a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display panel along with 19:9 aspect ratio, vertical dual rear camera, fingerprint sensor, alert slider, 845 Snapdragon SoC, up to 8 of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, Adreno 630 GPU, 3380 mAh battery with dash charging 2.0, Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, IP67 or IP68 certification and much more. The smartphone is expected to be offered in 3 variants based on the memory space - 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. As far as the prices are concerned, various rumors hints that the new OnePlus 6 from Chinese smartphone maker will be priced between Rs. 36,000 to Rs. 42,000. Moreover, the company has also revamped its trade in program which is available for the European markets.
