Motorola, Lenovo-owned smartphone maker is expected to launch the new smartphones in the Moto G7 Series today in Brazil. Motorola’s new budget smartphones are expected to be offered in 4 variants – Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play. The launch event is slated to commence at 10 AM local time which is 5.30 PM IST.  The company will also be broadcasting the launch event straight from the venue on its social media channels. The new Moto G7 Series are expected to run on the stock version of Android Pie OS and Moto G7 Plus variant is rumoured to be the most premium in the range. The upcoming Moto G7 range will be the first line-up from Motorola to feature waterdrop notch display with some other premium features.

The launch event of the new Moto G7 will be live streamed on Motorola’s official Facebook account as well as website. There has been several rumours and leaks concerned with the new Moto G7 Series wherein the premium offerings – Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus will sport dual rear camera, rear fingerprint reader, waterdrop notch and much more. The other two variants – Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power will come with traditional notch, single rear camera, fingerprint reader, Android Pice and much more.

Under the hood, the Moto G7, Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC whereas Moto G7 Plus will get Snapdragon 636 chip. Coming to the price point, the new Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power are expected to be priced at EUR 149 (around Rs. 12,100) and EUR 209 (around Rs. 17,000). On the other hand, Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus could cost EUR 300 (roughly Rs. 24,400) and EUR 360 (roughly Rs. 29,300), respectively.
