Honor, a sub- brand of Huawei is all set to launch the new Honor 8C smartphone in India at an event today. The company will also be launching the new Honor Band 4 alongside the new Honor smartphone at the event that is slated to commence at 12PM IST onwards. The smartphone will be sold exclusively via Amazon India as well as company's official website - HiHonor.in. On the specification front, the new Honor 8C smartphone will sport a 6.26-inch HD+ display with a notch on the top. It will feature resolution of 720 x 1520 and aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6362 chipset which will be clubbed with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of inbuilt storage. For optics, the new Honor 8C will be equipped with dual rear camera module comprising 13MP + 2MP sensors along with an 8MP selfie camera. Additional features of the smartphone that are likely to be offered on the budget smartphone are 4000mAh battery, fingerprint sensor at the back and more. The company will also be launching the new Honor Band 4 alongside the smartphone which sports a 0.95-inch OLED display. It also gets 2.5D glass on the top. Offered with swim stroke recognition, the new Band 4 is water resistant up to 50 meters. Additional functions offered on the band are exercise tracking, pedometer, continuous heart rate monitoring with Huawei TruSeen 2.0 technology, sleep tracking and much more. The band also comes with display notifications as well as incoming call mute function. The device packs a 100mAh battery providing standby time of up to 14 days.
